Eric Rindahl, CMRP

Founder, RC&M · Vibration Analyst Level II · U.S. Marine Corps Veteran

I started in 2001 as a U.S. Marine Corps AAV mechanic (MOS 2141), keeping amphibious assault vehicles, Humvees, 7-tons and other tactical vehicles running. That's 25 years in maintenance and reliability since then, much of it hands-on in food and consumer-goods plants: collecting and analyzing vibration data, running ultrasound and infrared inspections, and turning findings into work orders before equipment fails. The lesson from all of it: the data is only worth something if someone acts on it.

As a reliability manager, I've also been the customer. I've picked monitoring vendors, defended capex requests, cleaned up alarm floods, and tried to get findings into the CMMS before the bearing gave out. I know what a vendor demo promises and what shows up on site six months later.

Before any of that, I served in the U.S. Marine Corps. The Corps taught me to own the mission, tell the truth about conditions on the ground, and finish the job.

I started RC&M (Reliability Coaching & Monitoring) because mid-size plants deserve the same quality of reliability advice that big companies get from in-house experts, without a vendor's sales target behind it.
